Milford Village – Proposed Hub of Upper Bucks County Healthcare

The hub of Upper Bucks County Healthcare is shifting to Milford Township.

Located on the Rt 663 corridor between Quakertown and Pennsburg, Milford Village is a a proposed mixed-use campus including St. Luke’s University Health Network, an expanded LifeQuest Nursing Center, retail and office space.

The Milford Village site is currently under development at the corner of Rt 663 and Portzer Rd. in Milford Township, PA. The Quakertown exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension is located just 3-5 minutes west of Porter Rd.

St. Luke’s Hospital at Milford Village

In May, a groundbreaking for the new St. Luke’s Hospital, an estimated $100 million project, was held at the corner of Portzer Road. The new St. Luke’s Hospital will be a $100 million project. Designed to replace the nearby St Lukes Quakertown hospital. It will create an estimated 200 jobs in Bucks County, Plans for the building include starting with 40 beds and eventually double to 80 beds.

The Village at LifeQuest

The groundbreaking event was held in October for the The Village at LifeQuest, which is Phase I of the project.
LifeQuest’s new $25 million assisted living facility is planned to have 123 assisted living units, an expanded kitchen and open dining area, a 10-15 bed memory care unit and an activity room for residents. Additional proposed amenities include a gym, a spa, game rooms and bistros.

A $40 million loan from the USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture) is being used to fund the assisted living facility and other parts of the Milford Village project.

A public hearing was held at a regular business meeting July 3, 2018 for the fourth revised master plan of the more than 216-acre site. Milford Supervisors will be voting on Milford Village topics at the Milford Township Supervisors August 6, 2018 meeting (View Calendar).

Caracor LLC, a real estate development and investment firm in Allentown is co-developer with LifeQuest of Milford Village.
