Tinicum Township supervisors are considering a conservation conversion for 42 remaining lots at the Shull Farm Road subdivision.
The Schull Farm Road subdivision’s existing 72-lot / 408-acre was proposed by the developer at the May 1, 2018 Tinicum Township meeting. Located off of the eastern side of Geigel Gill Rd, the proposed conservation conversion may add up to 95 acres to the Tinicum’s preserved open space. Currently, the developer has a farm contiguous to the proposed conversion located between Tettemer Rd and Permanent School Rd.
The developer is seeking “consideration for Tinicum township to participate in and acquire the development rights to preserve the open space.” The Bucks County Agricultural Preservation Program supports the and would pay the majority of the costs.
